TRÔNE Seating at LogiMAT Stuttgart: much achieved in 4 years!

TRÔNE Seating from Zaltbommel has grown strongly. Four years after starting and introducing the first TRÔNE seats in 2018, hundreds of forklift drivers are already sitting on a really good forklift seat. At the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart, they explain how that came about.

The LogiMAT Stuttgart trade fair took place from May 31 to June 2 and attracted thousands of visitors from northwestern Europe and beyond. Even at TRÔNE Seating, the booth was regularly very busy. “We have a unique seat in terms of adjustment options and that appeals to both large and small companies,” stated Sarah van Seumeren of TRÔNE Seating during LogiMAT. “Everything is electrically adjustable, we have a memory module if you share the same seat with several drivers, and recently also a CE-approved three-point belt for the High-Back version.”

Optimal support

Since the start of the family business in 2018, things have moved fast. By now, hundreds of drivers are already riding around on a really good forklift chair that is precisely adjustable to the person. “Not only horizontally in relation to the steering wheel and with a tiltable backrest, but also through the seat depth and the angle of inclination of the seat,” Sarah explains. “The combination of the sliding seat and the tilt adjustment ensures that as a driver, you don't sit down, but you are 'put' in the seat. Your hips, upper legs and lower back, everything is optimally supported.”

Unique 3-point harness

After the introduction in 2018 of the TRÔNE Low-Back seat with retractable backrest, the High-Back version is now also available that offers even more support. This seat is ideally suited for the 3-point belt that was recently added to the range. The new belt holds the driver in place even better during emergencies and is easier to use than the standard 2-point belt. “The system features two automatic belt rollers so you can close and open the belt very easily,” Sarah demonstrates. “The buckle can be adjusted to any height and with that everything works very smoothly and enjoyably.”
